Abstract

As a result of interest created by the Ffrst International Conference of Judaica and Israeli Librarians held in Jerusalem in June 1990 (see Judaica Librarianship vol. 6 no. 1–2), an Israeli Judaica librarians' group was founded in 1991. For administrative purposes, it was decided to operate the group as a subdivision of the Israel Society of Special Libraries and Information Centers (ISLIC), though all programming is prepared independently by the group's members.
